Dental Hygienist Fellowship

Enhance your career with a Dental Hygiene Fellowship!

The Special Care Dentistry Association (SCDA)—an international organization of oral health professionals dedicated to promoting oral health and well-being for people with special needs—offers a Special Care Dental Hygiene Fellowship Program for dental hygienists who work with patients who have special needs in both community and institutional settings.

The SCDA has always recognized the important role dental hygienists play on the dental team. The fellowship program provides dental hygienists with a support network of colleagues who are familiar with the common challenges in providing special care dentistry, opportunities for continuing education, and access to special care dental resources.
